A wide-scale search in northern NSW has ended in tragedy ... having difficulty in the water near Barneys Point Bridge at Chinderah, south of Tweed Heads about 1.15pm Thursday.

Jayden Brady, 14, and his brother Joseph, 11, disappeared from a home at Tweed Heads nine days ago. Last week, police found makeshift campsites in the Arakwal National Park near Byron Bay.
