The Chicago Bears have flirted with leaving Chicago and building a stadium in Arlington Heights for more than 50 years.

The Bears' plans for a new domed stadium have shifted again, now focusing on a 326-acre property owned by the team in the Arlington Heights suburb.

The Chicago Bears seem to have shifted their attention for a new enclosed stadium back to the suburbs from the city’s lakefront, citing “significant progress” with local leaders to build on a tract of land they own in Arlington Heights.
