Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) responded around 10:35 p.m. to a crash near West Valencia Road and South Ignacio M. Baumea. They found a deceased person in the roadway.

PCSD says the road is back open. Valencia Road is shut down in both directions at South Camino Verde after a pedestrian-involved crash, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
