Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma announced their retirements from T20Is following India's seven-run victory against South Africa in the final of the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup.

"Virat surprised me because I thought he had at least two-three years of Test match cricket left in him," he said. "But then, when you're mentally fried and overcooked, that's what tells your body.
