Prosecutors are asking a Hamilton County judge to sentence Emily Nutley, who pleaded guilty to sexual battery, to five years in prison.

Prosecutors say Emily Nutley, 43, who at the time was married and has three children, initiated the sexual relationship with the 17-year-old student.

Nutley had been a licensed school counselor for 18 years, she said in court Monday, and has a master's degree from Xavier University. "I've had a long and successful work career," she told Branch.
