Ziva, a 10-year-old Hartmann’s mountain zebra, delivered the baby boy — also called a foal — at approximately 7:11 p.m. on June 2 at Utah's Hogle Zoo.

Lydia and Ziggy, members of the zoo's Grant's zebra herd, welcomed their baby boy on May 21 (see below photo). He is the first male zebra foal to be born at the zoo in recent years.
