Avelo Airlines, which launched in 2021, is canceling its West Coast services out of Burbank Airport after financial reverses and backlash against its deportation flights.

While Avelo will no longer serve the western US, the airline will continue to serve what Goff called an east coast network of over 40 cities both domestic and international that will extend from Manchester, New Hampshire in the northeast to the Dominican Republic and Cancun to the south and as far west as Dallas and Chicago.

The budget airline has faced protests and calls for boycotts because of its contract to operate deportation flights.
