WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, is launching the Reclaimed Water Project—a groundbreaking initiative aimed at conserving water while maintaining its 20-acre gardens.

Botanica has designed a temporary water storage and irrigation system that will use over 3 million gallons of non-potable water from the new Wichita Water Treatment Plant’s testing process.

Botanica says it typically uses 68,000 gallons of water a day to maintain the 30 gardens that make up its 20-acre property.
