On Friday, the Twins placed Correa on the concussion-specific injured list and activated infielder Ryan Fitzgerald. Buxton remains in the concussion protocol.

The Twins announced Friday that they had placed Correa on the seven-day concussion injured list for a collision that happened in Thursday's 4-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The collision happened in the third inning and was with Twins center fielder Byron Buxton. Correa exited the game following the play.
