In 2023, Golden spent his sophomore year at IMG Academy. He then transferred to Sarasota Cardinal Mooney for 2024 and as a junior, he helped the Cougars reach the semifinals of Florida's 2A playoffs.

He took official visits to FSU, Kentucky, Ohio State, Rutgers and Auburn and the Seminoles are working hard to land the Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney standout.
