A court in Paris on Tuesday found French actor Gérard Depardieu guilty of sexually assaulting two women on a film set in 2021 and handed him an 18-month suspended prison sentence.

The French actor was found guilty of sexually assaulting two women on the set of a movie in which he starred in 2021. He was given a suspended sentence of 18 months.

The Oscar-nominated French actor has been accused of misconduct by more than 20 women, but so far only the sexual assault case has proceeded to court.
