After suffering a left calf strain on his second spring training at-bat, LeMahieu will be activated from the injured list on Tuesday and likely make his season debut at second base on Wednesday when the Yankees wrap up a series in Seattle with a day game.

SEATTLE - Once he's activated off the injured list, DJ LeMahieu will alter the Yankees' infield dynamic and will add a veteran right-handed presence toward the bottom of the order. LeMahieu could join the AL East-leading Yankees this week at T-Mobile Park, where they open a three-game series Monday night against the AL West-leading Mariners.
