Taiwan's Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics maker, said on Tuesday an artificial intelligence centre it has announced with Nvidia will be built in phases and is targeted to have 100 megawatts of power.

Using Nvidia’s Blackwell GPUs and AI infrastructure from a Foxconn subsidiary, the supercomputer is set to assist Taiwanese researchers and enterprises, including TSMC.

Announced at the Computex 2025, the projects to be developed in partnership with key Taiwanese players and backed by government support, point to Taiwans growing role in the global AI race. On the cards are building Taiwans first large-scale AI supercomputer,
