AAA predicts more than 45 million travelers this Memorial Day weekend, with gas prices down 50 cents from last year. Traffic is expected to peak Thursday and Friday evenings.

Starting this weekend, the Shoreline Operations Station at Buckroe Beach will allow the Hampton Police Division to process criminal charges on site, as needed.
