Quarterback Gavin Frakes is transferring to Northwestern after previously committing to Oklahoma, On3 reported Wednesday.

OU never announced its signing of Frakes, and on Wednesday, it was reported by On3 that Frakes has actually signed with Northwestern, instead of the Sooners.

Former Oklahoma quarterback commit Gavin Frakes signed with Northwestern out of the transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Originally, Frakes played at Virginia before entering the spring portal.
