During a recent interview with The Pivot Podcast, North Carolina coach Bill Belichick took a sudden turn to share some alternative facts regarding the disconnect between UNC and the Hard Knocks franchise.

Shortly before NFL Films and HBO were set to announce the docuseries, Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, demanded both content approval and partial ownership of the show, according to Katherine Rosman of The New York Times.

UNC was set to be featured on “Hard Knocks” and follow first-year coach Bill Belichick after the docuseries struggled to find an NFL team to participate.
