The Detroit Lions and their ear-ringing fans celebrated a feat that the franchise pulled off for the first time. Fireworks went off and streamers came down from the rafters while fog machines filled the air with a haze as Lions players and coaches hugged on the Ford Field turf.

The Detroit Free Press produced a poster to commemorate the Lions' franchise-record 15 wins, No. 1 seed in playoffs and back-to-back division titles.

Detroit beat the Vikings, 31-9, at Ford Field to clinch the NFC North and the NFC’s top seed in the playoffs. The Lions finished the regular season 15-2, marking the most wins in franchise history.
