Uwajimaya, an Asian grocery store chain with a location in Beaverton, will host a traditional Lion Dance performance for Lunar New Year. The festive celebration promises luck and fortune for the new year and invites attendees to bring friends and family.

The Lunar New Year marks the beginning of spring across East Asia. This year it kicks off on Jan. 29, but Austin festivities kick off early.
