DALLAS -- The Dallas Stars rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 6-3 with five goals -- three straight on the power play -- scored in the third period of Game 1 of the Western Conference Final at American Airlines Center on Wednesday.

The Dallas Stars beat the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final 6–3. Regardless of the score, the Oilers played well tonight. Signifying that this is going to be a battle of a series.

The Oilers held a two-goal lead over the Stars going into the third period, but a leaky penalty kill sent them to defeat.

The Dallas Stars looked dead in the water for the first 40 minutes of Game 1 of the Western Conference final against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday. But in the final 20 minutes, the Stars unleashed a five-goal barrage for a 6-3 win to take a 1-0 series lead.
