MARICOPA, Ariz. — A person has died after they were found unconscious in a Maricopa backyard during a house fire overnight, fire officials said.

Rebekah Baptiste was tortured and abused, officials say. Her father, Richard Baptiste, and his girlfriend, Anicia Woods, are facing murder charges.
