A Danville man is recovering in the hospital after being stabbed last night. Police have already arrested a suspect thanks to some help from the community.

Attleboro Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a stabbing Thursday night, according to a statement from the Attleboro Fire Department.

According to Metro police, the victim was stabbed by an acquaintance, Tristen Williams, 26, who was letting the victim stay at his apartment.

A judge in Allen Superior Court handed 37-year-old Christina Habegger 60 years in prison. She was found guilty of murder in April in connection to the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, 38-year-old Robert Lee Higginbotham III.
