ESPN analyst and famous Knicks loyalist Stephen A. Smith was one of the happiest individuals in Madison Square Garden following the Knicks' historic win. The renowned sportscaster did not hesitate as he made his bold prediction for the upcoming Knicks-Pacers series.

It sounds like the Knicks gave Stephen A. Smith the cold shoulder after their series clincher on Friday night. During ESPN’s postgame broadcast, Smith said that the Knicks players apparently had nothing to say to him following their 119-81 Game 6 trouncing of the Celtics because he originally picked Boston to win the series.

New York remains up 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. However, Smith was concerned by what he saw from Boston, particularly the way the team adjusted after losing Jayson Tatum to a torn Achilles tendon. Smith took issue with co-host Udonis Haslem claiming earlier in the show that the Knicks would be all right.
