GREENVILLE, S.C. (WVLT) - Tennessee dominated the second half of Wednesday’s first-round matchup against Texas A&M, ending the Aggies’ run in the SEC Tournament, 77-37. 8-seed Tennessee advances to the second round where it will face 8-seed Vanderbilt Thursday at 11:00 A.M.

Tennessee women's basketball allowed its fewest points of the season on Wednesday to move on in the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Lady Vols (13-0, 1-0 SEC), who had lost in five of their last six trips to College Station, were led by Texan Jewel Spear. The fifth-year guard from The Colony knocked down six of eight attempts beyond the arc to finish with a season-high 20 points.

Four student-athletes are listed as out for the Tennessee-Texas A&M game. Kaiya Wynn is listed as out for Tennessee, while Aicha Coulibaly, Vanessa Saidu and Taliyah Parker are out for the Texas A&M. Talaysia Cooper is also listed as questionable for the Lady Vols.
