The Trump administration honored Elon Musk as the billionaire's tenure at the White House comes to an end. President Donald Trump awarded Musk a "key to the White House" in honor of his last day.

President Trump said that Elon Musk "will, always, be with us, helping all the way." Musk's tenure as a "special government employee" is formally ending.

Elon Musk said he expected to "remain a friend and an advisor" to President Donald Trump as his time as a special government employee ends.

The newspaper reported that Musk had been taking ketamine, ecstasy, mushrooms, Ambient, Adderall and other drugs while on the job.
