New general manager Mike Borgonzi selected Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, which means the writing is on the wall for Levis.

That leaves Ward as the quarterback of the future, and likely the present as well, while the 25-year-old Levis faces an uncertain future. Per ESPN's Turron Davenport, he didn't hide his disappointment with the situation:
