Bayern Munich are desperate to land German international Florian Wirtz this summer. They have been tracking the young midfielder for many years, and finally they feel that they can secure his signature.

Liverpool have been given further encouragement that a blockbuster deal for Florian Wirtz is on the cards this summer after a German outlet  cast serious doubts over the prospects of a move to Bayern Munich – seemingly leaving the Reds with one hurdle left to cross before sealing a club-record deal.

According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich will meet with Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz at Säbener Straße this week: Bayern Munich, it should be emphasised, remain confident that Florian Wirtz will be true to his word.
