Shaheer Cassim, 39, has been charged with hijacking after being accused of stealing a small plane from the Victoria Flying Club and eventually landing it at YVR.

The case of a Calgary police officer, charged with two counts of second-degree murder following a low-speed chase along Memorial Drive, will be back in court on Aug. 27, 2025.
