The Ohio Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal of a judge’s decision to allow Toledo’s “lead-safe certification law” to be enforced.

The ordinance requires landlords of homes built before 1978 to have lead paint removed and was passed by Toledo City Council in 2020.
