The UConn women’s basketball team is back in action on Sunday when the Huskies host Butler in Big East Conference play at the XL Center in Hartford. Tip-off is at 1 p.m. No. 6 UConn (20-2, 11-0 Big East) is coming off an 84-58 victory over DePaul (11-12, 6-4) on Wednesday in Chicago.

DePaul is 0-10 against UConn since December of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. Both will face off in a Big East battle at 8:00 p.m. ET at XL Center. The Blue Demons are strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 75.

There was some booing last night at the XL Center. Booing that some people believe was directed at the UConn basketball team.

And sources tell FootballScoop that Pryce Tracy is being hired by Mora to become UConn's new passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. It's a significant addition for the Huskies, who land Tracy after he spent the 2024 season as an offensive analyst on Kirby Smart's SEC Championship-winning Georgia Bulldogs staff.

The Huskies have lost three times since the first meeting with the Blue Demons, an 81-68 road victory. UConn is coming off a 76-72 loss to Xavier and have alternated wins and losses for their last six games since the first meeting with DePaul. The squad sits at 14-6 and is 6-3 in the conference, two games behind Marquette and St. John’s at the top.

The Marquette Golden Eagles (18-3, 9-1 Big East) will try to continue a three-game win streak when they host the UConn Huskies (15-6, 7-3 Big East) on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Fiserv Forum.
