Redshirt junior Amy Wier, junior Addison Lawrence and freshman Olivia Kelly scored 9.900s. Hu continued to shine, earning her third perfect 10 of the season and winning the event.

But a successful inquiry into the start value on Amy Wier’s beam score bumped her up from a 9.55 to a 9.85 and nudged the Tigers just past the Red Rocks for third place.

But after Amy Wier, the first Mizzou gymnast to take to the beam, fell, the Tigers needed Celestine there. Celestine delivered with a composed 9.825 score, which righted the ship.

The Clemson Tigers on Friday announced they have “parted ways” with gymnastics coach Amy Smith, according to a news release from athletic director Graham Neff.
