Officials at an Arkansas school district said Tuesday that the high school football team will not use a logo that is similar to the Arkansas State University Red Wolf on its helmets.

A dispute between Arkansas State University and a Chattanooga-based United Soccer League team centered around the similarity of their Red Wolves branding.

Arkansas State became the Red Wolves in 2008, according to news reports. The Chattanooga Red Wolves were founded in 2018, and began using the name and logo in February 2019, court filings state.
