For a certain generation, the E46 is basically the M3. Of course, wagons are always better than coupes and sedans, but sadly, BMW never actually gave us an E46 M3 wagon.

This particular M3, however, is testing our limits in a whole new way. Or, perhaps, it’s proving that BMW’s designers really knew exactly what they were doing all along.

BMW’s updated M3 lineup sees a modest price increase for 2026, with the base model starting at $78,400. Optional packages can push it close to $120K fully loaded.
