Similar to Tuesday, scattered showers and storms are likely to bubble up during the afternoon hours today, giving some of us a brief (but welcome!) bout of rain-cooled air.

Friday likely sees developing sunshine and the weekend forecast continues to show sunny 80s. Watch for possible heat spike Monday with Portland highs warming into the 90s, but only for one day.
