Meta Platforms is delaying the release of its flagship "Behemoth" AI model due to concerns about its capabilities, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Meanwhile, the "Behemoth" model will have 288 billion active parameters and "outperforms GPT-4.5, Claude Sonnet 3.7, and Gemini 2.0 Pro on several STEM benchmarks," the company said last month.
