Bell Canada said on Wednesday it had rolled back an update and restored internet services after a nearly two-hour outage hit tens of thousands of customers in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.

Nearly 140,000 Bell users across the country said they had experienced issues connecting to the internet or accessing their account at the peak of the outage just after 9:30 a.m.
