UPDATE, 12:30 P.M. — The Lower Paxton Twp Police Department says officers have completed their physical investigation of Central Dauphin East Middle School and concluded that the building was safe.

Police have completed a search of Central Dauphin East Middle School following a threat received through social media. A district spokeswoman said the search confirmed that the building is clear.

A CD East Middle School 8 th grade student, Destiny Snyder, went missing between approximately 2:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. this morning, August 15, 2020, from her home in Lower Paxton Township.
