The home-state favorite Chase Elliott passed Brad Keselowski on the final lap to win his first race of the season, punching his ticket to NASCAR's playoff.

The Big One struck EchoPark Speedway Saturday night, collecting nearly half the field and reshaping the Quaker State 400.

Corey LaJoie finished the race in 32nd place. His flip was the second major rollover crash at the track that weekend. Kyle Sieg had had a similar wreck in the Xfinity Series race just a day earlier.

As of this writing, Corey LaJoie is running in second at Watkins Glen. Denny Hamlin, who is fighting to keep his playoff hopes alive following a 13-point finish in Atlanta, is running in 34th.

The "big one" came in the second stage of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona when Corey LaJoie gave Noah Gragson a bad push, causing a 17-car crash.
