At Dunbar Magnet Middle School, 7% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 16% scored at or above that level for reading. The school’s minority student enrollment is 94%.

Dunbar Middle is ranked #1495-1993 in Texas Middle Schools. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare their students for high school.

Of the estimated 950 students Dunbar Middle expects to see this school year, 260 are signed up for a band class, with nearly 200 enrolled in theater.
