Some Rhode Map readers have inquired about the purpose and cost of the signs for the airport exit. And Rhode Island Department of Transportation spokesman Charles St. Martin provided the answers.

The southbound exit to the airport will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday to install high-tech wrong-way signs, the Florida Department of Transportation said Friday in a news release.
