Starting this summer, Franklin Road Academy will open up its new Innovation Lab, a 2,000-square-foot space dedicated to innovation and experiential learning, to a number of Nashville schools.

Franklin Road Academy baseball coach George Weicker, a member of the first Nashville Sounds team, died Sunday. He was 62. Mr. Weicker was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the spring of 2015.
