The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Arizona State University have designed a computer program that can print any free-form drawing as a 2D nanoscale structure made of DNA.

The software allows for basic image adjustment, including cropping, resizing and file conversion, as well as more complex procedures such as layered editing, free-form drawing and GIF animation.
