The recently rebuilt and reopened Brotherton bridge in Waterford Township and the Harrington bridge in Conneaut Township are the last of about 15 covered bridges that once spanned local creeks.

The Brotherton Bridge and the Harrington Bridge near Albion are the only covered bridges remaining in Erie County.
