A brush fire burning in the Gorman area of northern Los Angeles County has triggered evacuation warnings after scorching more than 400 acres Thursday morning. The King Fire broke out just after 1 a.m.

Since its discovery more than a month ago, it has burned 22,139 acres, an increase of 13 acres since the last update. By Wednesday evening, the fire crew managed to contain 84% of this wildfire.
