United States Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell announced on Tuesday that a Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for Attempted Enticement of a Minor.

A witness said the victim was stabbed 15-20 times in the November 2023 incident, according to court documents.

Two Republicans will face off for Mark Brant's District 2 county commissioner seat. The winner will run against a Democratic candidate in November.
