Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will announce resources for federal employees Friday as President Trump continues a push to reduce the federal workforce.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball on Friday announced expanded resources for federal workers living in the county who may be impacted by a Trump administration buyout program and other efforts to downsize the federal workforce.

Howard County government is stepping up to expand child care options and offer food assistance, career transition counseling, job fairs and mental health support for federal workers affected by the Trump administration’s buyout offer.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced Friday the expansion of assistance programs to help federal workers living in the county who could lose their jobs. The county wants to be ready to help if they lose their jobs amid uncertainty with the Trump Administration.
