Creekmore Park pool will close Friday as the city addresses flaking fiberglass grates linked to irritation reports. Reopening is planned for Saturday.

The City of Fort Smith said the closure will happen to address reports of fiberglass irritation.

In the long term, the city has reportedly been looking into replacing the fiberglass grates with plastic ones, with all fiberglass set to be removed in winter 2025.

He denies any wrongdoing. The property, which contains a 565sqm house and swimming pool, borders the Chrisco mansion and Quotable Value records show the sale was settled on December 19.
