The Anderson County Library System implemented new initiatives to promote reading and help manage account resources.

Adam Theater's musical production "Library Lion," based on Michelle Knudsen's best-selling children's book of the same name, opens this week at BCA's Calderwood Pavilion.

Library Lion, a 2006 Candlewick Press picture book written by Michelle Knudsen and illustrated by Kevin Hawkes, recently made its U.S. theatrical debut at the Boston Public Library.

Lion dance at library. Buu Kim Tu Dragon and Lion Dance Association will perform a lion dance on Monday, Jan. 18, at the Saratoga Library.
