Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. This area recently went through a $40 million dollar restoration project. This part of the park was closed from the Spring of 2015 until June 15, 2018.

Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park, shown here shortly after the Washburn Fire began July 7, 2022, suffered only minor damage. No facilities burned and no giant sequoias died.
