Lopez-Machado, 44, of Centereach, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.

The man was 5-foot-3 and 185 pounds, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. He was wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, matching sweatpants, black cloth shoes and white socks.
