Two students were arrested Wednesday in the initial charges filed after an attack on Feb. 4 where a boy was assaulted and a girl was spit on, authorities said. The attack was fueled by the longstanding sports rivalry between Memorial and Stratford high schools in Spring Branch ISD and took place after a boys varsity basketball game in the parking lot of the Don Coleman Coliseum.

The suspects' identities have not been revealed, but one is described as a 16-year-old girl who attends Memorial High School, and the other is a student at Willis High School.

Two teen girls are in custody in Texas for allegedly plotting to commit a “mass casualty attack” at a Houston high school.
